Greece has the greatest number of daily ferry operations within the EU and still operates many ferries from the past five decades, many of which can still be seen in service today. This book looks back at the last six decades of ferry operations in Greece and includes an overview of the ferry operations today, detailed maps and a wide range of photos taken over 50 years from leading photographers, who have spent many days and hours travelling around the mainland ports and to over 150 islands which are inhabited. The book also follows the cascade of ships from northern Europe in the sixties, seventies and eighties to the introduction of new purpose-built tonnage at the turn of the century. Now Published.
