Brittany Ferries' recent ship changes have been much in the news of late, and in the Summer 2025 edition of FCR we intend to feature an affectionate farewell to Normandie, written by Brian Smith. Richard Seville offers a photographic review of Istanbul ferries and a voyage report on his trip from Denmark to the Faroe Islands aboard Norröna, held over from this issue. Miles Cowsill takes a first hand look at ferries across the Cook Strait in New Zealand, whilst Scott Mackey reports on a recent cruise aboard MSC’s giant MSC World Europa.
