The Isle of Man is a key location for the operations of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), which maintains no fewer than five lifeboats around the Manx coastline. These lifeboats cover not only the seas around the island, but also the neighbouring coastlines of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
