This second offering of The Ferry Log: Innovation amidst modernisation charts two decades of ferry activity around Great Britain between 1980 and 1999.

It follows the format as before, being profusely illustrated, using the writings of Ferry Publications’ correspondents, supported by smaller ‘cameo pieces’ on ferries for whom it was either their introduction, demise or a notable event in that particular year. ‘The Ferry Log’ itself is a month-by-month appraisal of the main happenings, supplemented by an ‘In The News’ section to provide useful contextual reminders of times past along with maps and statistical information.
