 In 1996, a chartered in freight ferry the Bolero set sail from Warrenpoint for Heysham operating the first crossing for a newly formed ferry company called Seatruck. Twenty-five years later in 2021, Seatruck is a major force in moving road freight across the Irish Sea, owning eight modern purpose built roll on roll off freight ferries and operating three ferry routes. The Seatruck Story – Celebrating 25 Years tells the story of Seatruck’s growth and profiles the Company’s operations today and the principal vessels which have formed the Seatruck fleet.
